In the past, Taylor Remodeling has worked with; Ray Anderson Co., installing Pella Windows and Doors Home Depot Co., installing doors, windows, kitchen cabinets and countertops Lowes Co., installing doors, windows, kitchen cabinets and countertops. Countertop Trends, as the local countertop installer for the Topeka area. Although, Taylor Remodeling has progressed, there are still opportunities to work with these companies, and Jeff still maintains a working relationship with the salespeople. Taylor Remodeling has been featured, several times, in the business review section of the Topeka Capitol-Journal. Also, written about in other remodeling news stories.
When Roberton Shirley Lumber was formed in 1929, the Shirley Family's commitment to quality and service began. In 1937 Samuel Shirley left the lumberyard and Samuel J. Shirley Construction began.
Started as a small rekeying and lock repair service in late 2015 the company has expanded to include a wide variety of services ranging from lockout services to SFIC work. Limited capabilities to cut and program car keys were added in early 2016 and expanded to include several sidewinder keys before the end of the year. In 2017 safe related services were offered for the first time and key programming capabilities for Chrysler group vehicles were added along with expanded services regarding Honda Ignition and Door locks. In 2018 and 2019 we optimized our work flow and added a service vehicle to better serve our customers. In March of 2020 we opened our first storefront at the intersection of Bluemont Avenue and Tuttle Creek Boulevard. After one year there we reverted back to mobile-only service. At the beginning of 2021 we have shifted our primary focus to making keys to modern cars, including European makes.
