Owner and President Helmut K. Marosits relocated to the Springfield area in the late 1970's and he started H&R Homes in Ludlow, MA in 1979. Helmut's goal is to provide the residents of Massachusetts with a professional choice for all of their home improvement needs. Helmut's personal attention to his customers begins to payoff. Very quickly, the company grows through its previous customers and their referrals to family and friends. Helmut's son Hunter grew up in his father's business. As a child, he spent every summer alongside his father and learned the business from the ground up. In 1999, Hunter receives a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts. His primary focus is sales and marketing. In 2001, Hunter is promoted to serve as Vice President of H&R. Hunter continues gaining new customers for H & R as well as serving its thousands of previous customers.
Doug was born and raised in Western MA. He has been married to his high school sweetheart Brenda for 36 years and has one son Daniel who works for the business. His strong commitment to community was the determining factor in his decision to locate his business in Western MA.
