In 1976, Ted Danz Heating & Air Conditioning opened its doors in the Capital District. Ted and his mom, Lucille, were the only employees. She worked every facet of the business and as Ted describes, "She pretty much ran the place!" Family Danz Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc was founded once Ted's three sons joined the family business.
Ted grew up in Colonie, NY to a hardworking family. From a young age, Ted was taught to respect family morals and values. He went on to serve his country in the U.S. Navy and finished his military career with a strong sense of duty and commitment to his community. Once back in the Capital District, he settled into the town of Bethlehem. It was always a dream of Ted's to start a family business and at the same time, give back to the community.
