McBurnie Oil Company and Country Gas were first started in 1976 purchased from Monson Oil Company, located in Denmark, Maine. At that time, Monson oil served about 1000 oil and gasoline accounts. Since that time, we have grown to over 4000 customers. Not only do we provide heating oil, but also propane, gasoline and diesel fuels. Our staff has grown to 14 employees with service as our main objective.
Recently, we have added a 90,000 gallon underground storage system to allow us to buy at the best possible rate and provide competitive pricing to our many clients.
In 2008, we merged with EnergyUSA Propane. This will allow us to continue to provide quality services at competitive prices, which you have come to expect from McBurnie Oil and Country Gas.
