Geisel History Their names were Claude Geisel and Floyd Schlitt and they called their company Geisel Manufacturing. They sold and installed a gas conversion burners which they had designed and patented. It was called the Glo-Cone Gas Conversion Burner. Around 1944 business demanded they upgrade their operations to full time. In 1954, Geisel Manufacturing installed 800 conversion burners. They also had another dealer in Denver, Colorado. In the late 1950's Geisel Manufacturing moved to their present location. In the mid 1960's the company started to install central air conditioning and forced air heating systems Geisel is celebrating their 80th anniversary this year.

The Business originally was founded by Dave Zinn who owned Zinn Refrigeration. When Jim became Daves partner, they changed the name to JD Indoor Comfort, Inc. Dave has since retired from the business but can be seen at the shop occasionally in the summer months. Michelle and Jim now own the business and run all the Day to Day operations.
