Established by the Kobie family in 1996 as a branch office of Kobie Kooling, Inc. of Fort Myers, the business was purchased by the Steeles in December 2002. A new corporation was formed, and the business began operations under the new name of Kobie Complete Heating & Cooling, Inc. Pursuant to the purchase agreement, our company Kobie Complete Heating and Cooling, Inc. now exclusively serves customers in Charlotte and Sarasota counties, and Kobie Kooling, Inc. exclusively serves Lee and Collier counties. We currently employ approximately 18 people, and operate 10 service vehicles.
In 2012, Kobie Complete expanded their areas or expertise to include plumbing services via their newly-acquired sister company, Ray's Complete Plumbing. Ray's has been providing expert plumbing services in Southwest Florida since 1957.
