Fred has been plumbing since he was a young boy helping the local plumber in his home town in North Dakota.
Fred became a journeyman at age 21. He worked in Dickinson, ND where he oversaw large construction jobs. There he met and married his wife Charla. They moved to Missoula in 1984. Fred took his Masters test and started Fred's Plumbing and Heating, Inc. in 1988.
We have been a family team from the start, with Fred taking care of the plumbing and heating and Charla running the office. Our Son Rick apprenticed for Fred after high school learning the plumbing trade and became a Master himself in 2017.
In July of 2021, Fred and Charla retired after many years of serving our wonderful community.
Rick and his wife Maddy took over the business and are now serving all of your plumbing and heating needs.
Rick has his Masters and 17 years of experience thanks to Fred for his guidance and knowledge over the years.
