Eldred & Jo Ann Lewis started the business in 1965 as Lewis Heating & A/C. Located at 202 S Broadway in Larned, they offered quality Maytag, Motorola TV's and Coleman Heating & A/C as well as service on all brands. In 1971 they relocated to their current location at 622 Topeka street. In 1977, Their son, Steven Lewis started with the business as a HVAC serviceman. Steven bought the business from his parents in 2008 and changed the name to Comfort Systems Inc. to represent the evolving focus on comfort and energy savings. Steven is a State of KS licensed Mechanical Contractor and Plumber. He has been trained as a Home Energy Rater and is a member of Refrigeration Service Engineers Society since 1992.
