Our company's history began in 2000 when Creative Energies' founders noticed a problem. Climate change and regional air quality were becoming worse and our country was hooked on foreign oil. As former environmental educators with the National Outdoor Leadership School, they knew it was time to change our nations' energy production methods. In the first eight years of business, we offered services in all forms of renewable energy; solar for mountain cabins, wind power for remote ranches, solar hot water heating, passive solar home design, ground source heat pumps and micro-hydroelectric systems. If it reduced conventional fuel use, is was a good thing. Among those renewable energy technologies, a clear winner arose. Grid connected solar became more reliable and more cost effective than any of the other options. We narrowed our focus to specialize in solar energy. Today we are a focused, dynamic company with headquarters in UT, WY, and ID.
Wade and Kari Lynn White bought Sweetwater Aire from Colin and Sandy Campbell in 2007. Our shop is currently located at 381 Lincoln Street. We plan a move into a larger building July of 2018.
The state of Wyoming doesn't issue any contractor license, except electrical. The option to license contractors is delegated to the building department of city or county, where the work is to take place.
