In 1929, John Thielmann founded the family business, servicing boilers and oil furnaces. His son Walter soon joined forces with him, building the business into what it is today. Together, John and Walter became the local representatives of the Lennox Furnace Company. The family tradition continued with Walter's sons, Paul and Tom, who started working in the shop when they were still in grade school. Paul took over the business in 1969 and introduced air conditioning. Tom rejoined the business as a service technician in 1977 and then continued to serve as the company's office manager and service technician. We still take extreme pride in continuing the Thielmann name and great service that Thielmann & Son has been known for throughout the years.

Air Care has been providing service and installations for residential and commercial heating and air conditioning systems since it was founded in Mayville in 1981 by John Koll. John is our most experienced comfort design specialist.
We expanded to our current facility at the corner of Highways 33 and 151 on Beaver Dam's southeast side in 1999.
John then sold the business to Chad Guse. Chad has been with Air Care since 1993 where he started out as an Installer. He worked his way up to Lead Installer, then into our sales department, along with becoming the General Manager, until he purchased the business in November of 2016.
