ModernControls Inc. was started by HVAC service technician, Mike Peet, in 1988 in his garage. Having worked in HVAC service for many years, Peet determined he could build a better company than competitors by focusing on better service and by using state-of-the-art solutions. Four years later, the growing company moved into the facility at the present address. ModernControls has increased steadily in sales volume, services offered, geographic area serviced, and number of employees.
