Joe's Electric was owned and built in 1946 by its previous owner, Joe Kopaczewski. Joe had the same views as the current owner, Steven Dziuban, which was to supply professional heating, electrical and appliance sales and service to the community of Standish and surrounding areas. When purchased in June of 1978, Steve choose to keep the name "Joe's Electric" because it had been in the community for thirty-two years and had made a name for itself and was already well-known for its service, parts and knowledge. Joe's Electric first started as husband and wife business. Steven along with his wife, Barbara, worked solo for about a year when the business first started, until the growing community became too much to do by themselves. Joe's Electric now employs twelve people. There are five servicemen and four trucks, including Steve, that go out on daily service calls throughout our community to repair and diagnosis any troubles that may arise. Joe's Electric is a very friendly and knowledge
