After graduating high school, Kenny joined the USCG and was still active in doing heating and air. After serving for 5 years, he separated from active duty and has been involved in all aspects of heating and cooling collectively for 24 years. He is also a HVAC professor teaching the Hampton Roads areas newest technicians at Thomas Nelson Community College.
