The owner could not find a company that would install a low voltage radiant floor warming system in his own home. He purchased the materials from the manufacturer and installed it himself. This pointed out the missing niche so he opened a distributorship and started installing the systems while also running another business out of the same warehouse. After less than 2 years, he closed the other business and expanded installations to cover all of eastern New York, northern New Jersey, Massachussetts and Connecticut.
