The company was founded by Douglas & Debi Elsass in April 1984. Douglas Elsass was following in a long line of family in the Hvac field starting with his grandfather Art Snyder, father Allen Elsass and uncle Darryl Snyder. He founded the company on honest, integrity, principal, and years of experience. He is joined by his son Brandon Elsass (16 years) and an amazing staff. Pamela Kaiser (30 years) running the office, Dan Painter (20 years) is a senior installer, Jeff DeVore (10 years) senior installer & service tech, & Josh Popa installer. We are a growing company. Initially obtained the credentials to enter into the mortgage field services. Began work as a sub-contractor completing landscaping and yard maintenance work, throughout Northeast Ohio. Soon after, the business was expanded to include property repairs and maintenance. After several years experience regarding all aspects of construction, the business then converted to completing insurance claim repairs. During the course of operating, the owner completed an apprenticeship to obtain the necessary licensing and qualifications to complete electrical and HVAC installations. Now with over 11 years experience in the mortgage field trade, the company is entering the public domain to provide the same service quality and satisfaction desired by many homeowners.
Hero Heating & Cooling has a long family history in the HVAC trade. In 2011, the owner of Hero Heating & Cooling stopped working for other hvac companies and opened his own business.
