I have been in business for 15 years. My company started in Pennsylvania, where I am originally from. After 10 years there, I moved my company to Texas. I am proud to be servicing the South Texas and surrounding Areas .
GVEC was founded in 1938 on a promise of powering rural Texas. Our innovating founders--all local farmers themselves--cooperated as a group to serve and fulfill an urgent need for electric power in their rural community. They were determined to bring electricity to both themselves and their neighbors. In October 2017, we took another step beyond the meter by launching Electrician services as part of GVEC.
GVEC has served the AC/heating needs of South Central Texas since 1968, but our roots here run deeper. As part of the Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative family, our heritage goes all the way back to 1938. GVEC is committed to exceeding customer expectations and to delivering high quality, dependable HVAC products and services in a professional, ethical and affordable way.
In 2013, we began selling solar systems as more and more GVEC customers expressed an interest in solar energy. We wanted customers to have access to a quality product and ensure each system would be individually designed to maximize production.nWe're proud of the reputation we've built over the years for ethical behavior and honest communication among the communities we serve. Our members and customers know they can depend on us for the honest information they need to make informed buying decisions.
