I have been in the business for 15 + years. I worked with my father at Tims paint service then decided it wasn't for me then joined or US Army for 4 years did one tour in Iraq when i got back started working for an up and coming paint business Painting Consultants. Mark Brokner owned and we build it together for say 10 years now I'm going out on my own.
West Virginia does not require a homeowner to be a licensed contractor if they are doing work on their home. The homeowner must state this prior to commencing any work when applying for a building permit. If the homeowner does not do all the work himself, he must hire a contractor who is licensed by the State of West Virginia.
