I started Extreme Carpet Care in 2004. I was 26 years old and determined to follow my dream to own my own business. Now after 10 years I am taking new steps to get my name out there and bring my skills of everything I have learned about carpet cleaning, tile cleaning and upholstery cleaning to the public in hopes to make people happy and grow my business at the same time.
We began as a branch of a small, family owned plumbing company. As a plumber, the owner understood the importance of properly mitigating the people's homes he was working in to keep the home safe and free of harmful mold and bacteria. Rather than subcontract to another company, the owner took it upon himself to become fully IICRC-certified so that he himself could oversee both the plumbing repair, and the mitigation of the damage it caused. He then began to expand, as he found other team members that would hold the same high standards and work ethics. He soon found he had a team of highly trained technicians, and that other plumbing companies and homeowners could use their knowledge and skill. Cut N Dry Restoration was born, ready to serve and provide proper IICRC-certified work to any plumbing company or homeowner in need.
Check For Mold was started to provide our clients with the tools necessary for determining if their home, office or business has issues with indoor mold growth, which may or may not warrant costly repairs. Many mold remediation companies take advantage of people's fears concerning mold, and as a result will charge client's for services that are unnecessary. Because we are a mold inspection and mold testing company only, and do not perform the removal of mold (mold remediation), our clients often find comfort in spending a few hundred dollars for a mold inspection, and mold testing to verify the presence or absence of mold growth. This process often results in our client's not having to spend thousands of dollars on remediation. At Check For Mold we strive to give our clients an inspection and testing service, which simply reports the facts of their property as it relates to mold growth.
