We started in Southwest Missouri in 2017 and have been working hard to restore homes and businesses from water damage and frozen pipes bursting, to cleaning carpets and mold remediation.
Dog Gone Mold was started when our owner, James Stevens, noticed that the Ozarks needed an honest, no-nonsense mold company. A company that was knowledgeable, trustworthy and friendly. A company that gave fair pricing and always over-delivered. Finding mold in your home is serious business and choosing one of the best mold removal companies is crucial. Deciding which mold remediation company to use might initially seem daunting, but choosing Dog Gone Mold makes it simple. With our certifications in Mold Inspections, Mold Remediation Contracting and Lead Paint Renovations, we are qualified to deal with all of your mold related needs.
After over 20 years of construction and building experience and spending time as an operation manager for another restoration company, my wife Belinda and I decided to start NWA Restore-it, Inc. In the beginning I was the sole technician doing the work in the field and Belinda took care of all the office responsibilities. We purchased one van and equipped it with the best water damage mitigation equipment on the market. We also purchased eight air movers and two dehumidifiers and stored them in our garage when they were not in use. In 2002 we built a 4000 sq ft shop located in Bentonville. We took a small amount of the space and dedicated it to office functions. We also added a portable building for a construction office. Within 6 months of starting the business, one of the premier insurance carriers in the country approached us to be on their preferred vendor program. We are proud to still be participating in that program today.
