Buddy was born & raised in Covington, LA where he attended CHS and focused on athletics until he found his calling in the construction industry at 16 years old. His father and grandfather before him were both in the field & it didn't take long for Buddy to become a skillful carpenter. After spending 14 years working for a Commercial Contractor, Buddy decided to establish Popp Construction Services to give himself and his family financial freedom as well as, the freedom to spend more time together. He understood, from his experience, that there is a shortage of quality subcontractors. He spent 12 years with Spartan Building (LWCC's Safest 70 for the 8th consecutive year) including the last 5 years as a Superintendent. Through his career he has learned much about the industry and what it lacks and Popp Construction Services looks to fill those gaps by going above & beyond to deliver reliable, professional, & quality workmanship that you are proud to recommend to your friends & family.
