Victor Wood started Rapid Rooter in 1986 with a strong focus on fast friendly service, and even adopting the checkered flag as a logo. The company soon became the go to service provider for residential and commercial drain cleaning in and around the Rapid City area. Victor's partner of over 25 years, David Stertz, took over the reigns in 2016, and continues to run Rapid Rooter with the same principles it was originally founded upon, "take care of your customers, and they will take care of you."
We started as a small plumbing business in Chicago Illinois in 2003, In 2011 we came up to North Dakota to provide service to the local community opening MJ Plumbing in 2012, Now in 2018 we are happy to announce we can provide all plumbing services to Spearfish South Dakota, the most beautiful place we have been. We hope to grow with the spearfish and surrounding cities here in south Dakota.
We started out as a small, new construction residential plumbing business and have since grown to be able to serve the water conditioning market, install full service septic systems, install and service complete radiant heating systems, commercial plumbing installation and service, and now underground excavating and utility services.
