After moonlighting for several years from his daytime job in Boston, Jim Dorsey started the growing business full time in 1976. Jim's son, Jay worked part time helping dad and learning the business. In 1985 Jay joined the company full time leaving a job in Quincy. At that point the name changed to Jim Dorsey & Son, Inc. Business grew and other employees joined the firm. We also added to our list of services including air conditioning and remodeling. Today there is no job we cannot handle from a drippy faucet to a large commercial HVAC system. Though Jim is no longer with us, we still bring value, integrity and a common sense approach to every task.
