Terry Bonik was introduced to the world of RainSoft in St. Cloud, MN in 1977. He purchased his first RainSoft system for his home. Six short months later, Terry started working at a RainSoft dealership in St. Cloud, MN. Terry decided to relocate to Oelwein, Iowa and began working at a RainSoft dealership in Cedar Rapids, IA as a sales manager. Terry opened RainSoft of Oelwein, Inc in 1981 in Oelwein, IA. In 2006, RainSoft of Oelwein expanded and built a brand new 6,120 square foot building in Waterloo, IA. With the new location RainSoft of Oelwein, Inc became known as RainSoft of NE Iowa. The family business carried on as Terry Bonik, the president, welcomed Rachel Faust as the new vice president of RainSoft of NE Iowa. In 2016, RainSoft of NE Iowa expanded their service area, now including Jackson, Clinton, Scott and Muscatine counties.
