Keefe Plumbing Co., Inc. was founded in 1950 by Jack A. Keefe in the basement of his home in the Brainerd area. Approximately five years later, he moved the business to a storefront on Brainerd road. Mike Keefe joined his father in 1963. They worked together as partners until 1975, at which time, Jack Keefe retired and sold his interest in the company to Mike. In 1991, Mike's daughter, Kay, joined him in the business. After several years of working with Mike, she obtained her Master Plumber license, becoming the first female master plumber in Chattanooga. Kay bought the business in 2013.

Masonry specialists are required to be licensed as a contractor for projects $100,000 and up.
Geothermal HVAC Well Drillers must be licensed from Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation.
