AWS was founded by high school sweethearts Allen and Trudy Townsend. Allen began his career in water treatment in 1990! They understood and knew just how important good quality water was for both families and homes. It was their passion to provide top quality service and to treat each customer as if they were family. It did not take long for Alamo to grow beyond their small shop to being a leading name for water treatment in the San Antonio area. Allen passed away in 2017 but not before laying a solid foundation that continues to strengthen month in and month out. Today AWS continues to grow by maintaining great relationships with local manufacturers and homeowners as well as striving to set the standard by offering the best products for today's water.
I’ve been in the plumbing industry since 2005, soon after serving in the United States Marine Corp. I decided to open my own business in 2016 and since then have been serving the Atascosa county and surrounding areas.
Contractor licenses are issued by both the state licensing authority and the local licensing department. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) issues licenses to water well driller, electrical, HVAC contractors, but not plumber.
