EME installed the first utility-connected solar systems in the Yampa Valley and recently completed their 45th system. EME is headquartered in Old Town, Steamboat Springs and stocks and services all equipment from that location. We provide project management and customer service for each installation and facilitate system rebates and incentives for our customers. EME has installed various commercial building systems including the 26-kW Routt County Justice Center, 11-kW Bud Werner Memorial Library system, 3.5-kW Yampa River Botanic Gardens new office building, 9.9-kW Moots Cycles, 5-kW Yampatika Legacy Ranch, and the 5-kW North Routt Community Charter School, 5-kW Phippsburg Post Office, 9.9-kW Elkstone Farm Greenhouse Project and various educational systems for four middle schools in partnership with the Sierra Club in Steamboat, Hayden, Oak Creek and Meeker.
The state of Wyoming doesn't issue any contractor license, except electrical. The option to license contractors is delegated to the building department of city or county, where the work is to take place.
