Jeff Johnston started The Roofing Company (TRC) in 1976 with a bookkeeper and five other employees. He has developed that company into one of the largest in Grand County, employing many full-time office staff and field employees throughout several rocky mountain counties.
Do you want to work with a "salesman" or with an expert who will guide you and communicate with you? Do you want to work with someone who only cares about his commission or someone who will make sure you are satisfied from start to finish? After working for several roofing companies in Colorado, I saw first hand that there is a need for honest and knowledgeable people (because there are a lot of roofers who are neither) to help homeowners navigate through the process of getting their roof replaced after a hail storm. "Project managers" from other companies are just salesmen who don't usually have the understanding of what it takes to install a roof correctly. They care only about getting the contract signed, and they could be selling you a roof that could wear out sooner than expected, whereas I have 20 years experience installing roofs, inspecting roofs as a quality control manager and for insurance claims and continuing my education regarding best practices in the roofing industry.
We started in the industry in 2014 working on roofing projects and insurance claims before deciding to bring our knowledge and experience into our own company.
30 years experience in all Roofing systems from New construction, replacing existing roofs with new Roof system options, Roof repairs of all kinds, and Roof maintenance plans.
The State of Colorado delegates a general contractor licensing to building departments at the local level. A residential remodelers license, residential builders license, home improvement license or any permits to carry out a Roofing project are issued by the county or city regulation departments.
