In 1972 Ron Barrett owner/operator of Barrett Roofing got his Roofing Contractors license even though he had already been in the industry for over 20 years. Over time he has helped many homeowners and businesses on various islands in the state of Hawaii, including Oahu, Kauai and now currently based out of the Big Island. In 1992 he moved his entire operations to the island of Kauai to have a meaningful share in the relief work after Hurricane Iniki devastated much of the island. Currently specializing in Silicone coatings as a Qualified Applicator for Gaco we work with large resorts and individual homeowners to provide them exactly what they they need,
Skyta was originally formed in February 2013 providing both on-grid and off-grid residential PV systems. We have since expanded into full roofing replacement.
Started working in roofing when I was 16 doing roofing work for the roofers union in Oahu. Doing only commercial roofing for about 6 years. After I moved to big island with my wife and daughter in hopes of better opportunities. Which I immediately began working residential roofing. I worked the residential side of roofing for another 6 years. After experiencing all types of roofing, residential and commercial I am able to install customization with a wide-range of roofing systems. I decided to start my own company with a focus on quality of service for a fair price.
