The New York location helps service local households treating a variety of different rodents such as rats, mice and squirrels which can contaminate the insulation inside the attic and ultimately cause allergies and diseases to the people living in the house. Zach Jakob, President and Founder of Atticare Corporation, with 10 years experiance in Attic and Duct Service Industry, moved on to start up Atticare Corp. with the intention of creating a company with Customer Service at its core. The mission he had in mind was to provide a service that ultimately allowed customers to provide a better atmosphere for their loved ones and have this be done in the best way possible. As a company there have been rough patches and learning experiences through trial and error which have only helped Atticare Corp. grow and succeed.
New Jersey state laws require any contractors or subcontractors who sell or make home improvements to be registered with compliance to "Contractors' Registration Act".
However, construction permits are issued, as before, by the municipalities in which contractors are working.
A Contractor must be sure to use a written contract if a project costs more than $500.
Any person who makes improvement project of a home he(she) or his(her) family member owns is not required to registered as contractor.
Before hiring a contractor, make sure that they have a valid license and that their skills are appropriate for the job you are planning.
