Barrett Services
Barrett Services was orinigally launched in April 2016 primarily for a fund raiser for the very boy the business is named after. Barrett Ezell is the son of Chase and Allyson Ezell, our owners. At 3 months Barrett was diagnosed with 2 conditions: Neurofibramitosis (NF1) and Congenital Psuedarthrosis of the Tibia (CPT). NF1 is a condition where tumors tend to grow on the end of nerves under the skin causing the him to have a learning disability later in life along with other minor complications. CPT is a condition where the tibia spontaneously fractures due to the nature of the disease. Apposed to a normal healthy bone, the bone of a CPT patient does not heal and tends to bend. CPT is diagnosed 1 out of 250,000 patients. Treatment includes: multiple reconstructive surgerys and limb lengthening procedures throughout child hood or amputation and mobility with prosthetic. Due to the nature of CPT, once the bone is healed through surgery/recovery, it has a high chance of fracturing again.
