Our founder, Kent Elliott (March 11, 1919 - November 16, 2012), worked in sales for Harrison Roofing Company before starting Kent Elliott Roofing Company after a destructive hail storm hit the San Angelo area in 1966. Mr Elliott was a true business professional who believed in community service. Our company culture has always valued our employees. They are highly trained and knowledgeable people, in whom we have entrusted our hard-earned reputation, and whose families have become an extension of our own. From the start of our business, Kent Elliott understood the importance of honesty, integrity, and community service. These qualities of personal character still matter to us and are the foundation upon which our new owner, Brandon Smythe, steadfastly maintains the Kent Elliott Roofing Company into the first half of the 21st Century.

Being a Restaurant General Manager for years, I myself paid the fees of Vent-hood cleaning to stay compliant with city code. I understand first hand, the struggles of cost controls and hitting budgets to maximize profits. When you leave your Commercial kitchen in our hands, we go above and beyond the call of duty of grime. We take extra care of your kitchen and clean all your stainless, Heavy wall Debris, and floor Detail as well. we figure this may soften the blow on the PNL and free up Staff Cleanliness meetings to eliminate payroll cost.

Contractor licenses are issued by both the state licensing authority and the local licensing department. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) issues licenses to water well driller, electrical, HVAC contractors, but not plumber.
By offering to waive a deductible or promising discounts on all or part of a deductible, the contractor risks a fine of up to $ 2,000 and imprisonment of up to 6 months
In Texas, roofing contractors are not required to have a state license, but they can obtain a voluntary license through the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (RCAT). Since roofing requires a high level of skill and the roof is a crucial part of a home, it is important to hire licensed professionals.
The RCAT licensing program was created to enhance consumer protection and build public trust in roofing contractors. This program aims to improve the knowledge and professionalism of roofers through voluntary self-regulation.
Licenses are issued to individuals, not companies. However, to be eligible for a license, an individual must own, manage, or operate a roofing company for at least three years. Afterward, the company can advertise its services as a licensed roofing contractor.
