Advantage Home Solutions was launched in 2014 as a branch of Industrial Services of Illinois. Industrial Services was founded in Mattoon sometime after the turn of the 20th century (the original date has been lost to history) and was incorporated in 1921, as Industrial Roofing Company. We moved to our current location at 717 S. 19th St. in the early 1950's. Dan Coleman, our current co-owner and President began working here at Industrial Roofing in 1963. Since then, we have been family owned and are now run by three generations in the Coleman Family. Advantage Home Solutions was formed at the request of several of our commercial customers in order to serve residential customers, a sector of the population that we had not been able to serve before. We have been a staple in Central Illinois and the surrounding areas for over 100 years and hope to remain a staple for the next 100!
After working in the industry we decided to start a company of our own in Effingham Illinois. We were voted Best Roofing Company in Effingham in 2021 and 2022. We specialize in high end roofing systems and seamless gutters. We are certified installers for several different shingle manufacturers.
