I worked for a few of the bigger local companies, where I won awards for, being the lead installer for 3 years in a row. Working full time as a heating and air/ sheet metal technician I noticed a seamless gutter machine for sale on the side of the road and thought maybe I should look at getting a loan to buy it just for doing some side work to make extra money to help raise my family. I called the number on the for sale sign and was able to secure a loan, work out a deal with the seller and had obtained my goal of a side business. After a year of working all day then going out and working my side business till dark after work ages on the weekends I had built up enough contractors and roofers to go full time into running my seamless gutter business and start advertising to homeowners and expand my clientele. It was a bit scary and lean at first but hard work and drive paid off over time. After a while I was off and running as a successful rain gutter contractor.
