I've been roofing for 16 years. I got my start in the industry when my uncle offered me a chance to be his apprentice. I started as a residential roofing apprentice and moved myself all the way up to commercial roofing contractor. I did commercial roofing for 10 years and have done many jobs for other companies before starting my own. I've done hotels, apartments, stores, restaurants, hospitals, and warehouses. Doing all these jobs for other people made me want to start my own business.

AHS specialized in the repair and restoration of wood cedar roofs. After years of residential roofing, Jonathan was hired by one of the bay areas premier commercial roofing companies. He stayed with that company until getting his C39 contractors license. After 10 years of management and countless residential and commercial new installs, maintenance contracts and emergency repairs Jonathan saw a need for independent consultant in Silicon Valley. So many HOA’s and homeowners spend a lot of time interviewing Contrator after Contractor trying to find the best fit fir their project. So menu times not knowing the real details of roofing we saw people choose wrong and waste time money and risk their investment. If only they knew what we did. They could have saved money and gotten a better product.
