Peninsula Roofing Company was founded in 1947 by Wallace Messick. In 1968 it was purchased by the late Herbert Fincher, a former Westinghouse executive and prominent civic leader in the Salisbury area. In 1988, ownership was transferred to Herbert's daughters, Kathryn Fahey and Laurie Nosworthy. The Peninsula management team is dedicated to following the example of the Herb Fincher's leadership. We emphasize quality of workmanship and honesty in our relationships with our customers. We also believe it is our responsibility to give back to the community that has helped our success. Our employees are active in numerous civic organizations and we provide corporate support for numerous causes.

The first one is the class of license which determines the cost of projects that may be performed and the second is the classification/specialty of license, which determines what works are permitted.
To look up if a contractor's license has an active status or check a contractor's disciplinary history, a homeowner should use License Lookup tool.
Performing construction or demolition of structure, you are required by the State of Virginia a permit to be obtained.
