After spending 12 years in construction, the owner of IBEX Roof (Kirk Koskiniemi) realized that most homeowners and contractors are "on a separate page". Despite usually good intentions, many contractors lack a system to effectively guide a project to a close, while being responsive to customers and changing business needs. The roofing industry seemed like a solid area to focus in- people will always need roofs, it's competitive, and there is a lot of room for improvement. Kirk had a strong desire to take his experience as a General Manager of a local Vancouver, WA exterior construction business into the roofing industry. Instead of trying to change an existing company, Kirk decided to start from scratch with a new company. The result is IBEX Roof, and we are all about living up to our slogan: "We're on top of it".
Verify the contractor is insured against possible damage.
Look up a contractor’s license history for license violations.
A contractor registration is required by the State of Washington if a homeowner project involves any work that increases or decreases the value of real estate or consulting on a construction project. Contractors are not required to be registered if the customer needs gutter cleaning or pruning or lawn care or window washing to be performed.
