In 1980, I started Gillette Roofing. The company has grown to three crews, two consisting of an experienced foreman and two to three helpers. The third crew is a flat roof and repair specialist and a trained insulation installer. Gillette Roofing LLC takes extra care to provide a safe, productive, and personally satisfying work environment for our employees. " I started this company because I was tired of working for other contractors. Most of whom cut corners and cut costs just to make a profit. I also wanted to build a company that I and others could believe in and feel proud to work for. My great grandfather built homes all over Bowling Green, OH some right next to the Wood County Hospital. He built many of the homes on Lambert Dr. I guess that's what interested me in the firtst place, our family history!
Since then I've been in the construction and remodeling industry for about 12 years. It was a must for me to make my own way. And to deliver on a few very basic ideas. One being, The customer comes first. Second an enjoyable and family oriented crews/team. And lastly providing the very best options and ideas for the homeowners we work for.
So hence the name. I feel it's important to do the best you can for your family, and who knows maybe one day I'll pass the "dynasty" on to my children."
