R Squared was started by Jerry Quinn and his sons in 1984 in Temple, TX. Jerry infused the building with decades of construction experience passing down that knowledge to his sons: Randy and Tommy. In 2006, Jerry had built a successful business and wanted to retire. Long time construction friend, Mike Robinson and his son Heath Robinson purchased the building in October of 2007. Changing the name to R Squared, Heath and Mike immediately began to grow the business to tackle larger projects and a higher project volume. Heath's professionalism and focus on innovation and technology made a good match for the deep knowledge of metal construction developed by Tommy and Randy and Marshall Wilson, long time crew leader. This team is working to bring the best of steel construction to Temple-Belton-Killeen, Waco, and Austin.
Jody's Tree Service started in 1985, the same year his son was born. Jody wanted to have flexible hours so he could be there for his family and figured what better way than to own a business. In 2004 his son, Andrew Machuca, picked up the trade and immediatley fell in love. In January of 2009, at the age of 23, Andrew became the only I.S.A. Certified Tree Worker/Climber Specialist (TX-3619T) in Bell County and one out of 27 in the state of Texas. Andrew has competed in the Texas Tree Climbing Championship 4 times and in May of 2011 placed 3rd in the Throw Line Event.

In Texas, roofing contractors are not required to have a state license, but they can obtain a voluntary license through the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (RCAT). Since roofing requires a high level of skill and the roof is a crucial part of a home, it is important to hire licensed professionals.
The RCAT licensing program was created to enhance consumer protection and build public trust in roofing contractors. This program aims to improve the knowledge and professionalism of roofers through voluntary self-regulation.
Licenses are issued to individuals, not companies. However, to be eligible for a license, an individual must own, manage, or operate a roofing company for at least three years. Afterward, the company can advertise its services as a licensed roofing contractor.
