In 1980, Don Katzenberger was a hard-working, ambitious young man. Having worked as a roofer in high school, when Don graduated he and a partner decided to start their own roofing company - S&K Roofing. The pair's hard work and attention to detail and customer satisfaction quickly allowed them to add staff and contractors.
From 1980 to 2003, S&K Roofing had grown from a 2-person operation to a 20-person operation with revenue in excess of $8M. During that time period S&K also added services, including siding, windows, gutters and decks.
In 2003, S&K Roofing solidified their growing infrastructure and officially changed to S&K Roofing, Siding and Windows to better represent the company's expanding services. It was then, too, that they decided to adopt the tag line, "Worry Free. Guarantee."
In 2008, S&K moved to a brand new building and showroom in Eldersburg, Maryland and serves customers throughout Maryland and Northern Virginia.
