Connecticut Roofcrafters founder and owner/operator Michael Young was born to a family of roofers. Growing up, he spent many a summer afternoon ripping asphalt shingles or muling squares up a ladder. He came to know this business from the ground up. After taking time for college, Michael returned to the business he grew up in and decided to start his own company - one focused on 'old world craftsmanship with new world installation techniques.' Thus, Connecticut Roofcrafters was born.
