When the company owner (Bob) moved to Pinellas County in 1980, he sought employment in the construction business, an industry in which he excelled while living in his previous home state of Rhode Island. Within a year, Bob received his contractor's license, and founded a company in the aluminum business. A niche was formed that focused ASC's sales and marketing efforts in Pinellas County mobile home parks, where carports, roofovers, screened enclosures and sunrooms, replacement windows/doors, and vinyl siding are common home improvements.
Another important segment of ASC's business is contracting work on single family homes. With Florida's history of tropical storms/hurricanes, homeowners receive peace of mind by having ASC install new impact-resistant windows and doors, or other hurricane protection solutions, including accordian shutters, storm panels and Bahama shutters.
