The Ginter Family has been involved in the exterior remodeling business since the 1940's. First installing Mastic® insul-brick and insul-stone. After World War II, Asbestos siding shingles were developed and the Ginter's added that to their line of products. Several of the Ginter Family served in World War II and Korea. In the early 1950's, aluminum siding was developed and the Ginter's added this to their line. It did not take long for aluminum to nearly eliminate the other exterior remodeling products on the market. The family soon branched out and several became independent contractors, forming their own companies. In 1961, Ott Ginter formed Ott Ginter Aluminum Co., specializing in aluminum siding, aluminum storm windows & doors. Business was good. Raymond Ginter was working for the company and business grew rapidly. In 1970, Ott's son, Randolph joined the business . Randolph changed the name to Ginter Siding and Windows in 1990
