The company originally was started as a partnership named Carney Cain Tree and Landscape, Inc. Rob Cains peice of the company was purchased in 1985 and the name was changed to Carney Tree and Landscape, Inc. Up until 1994 the company was focusing most of its attention on providing Landscape Design and Construction, all phases of Tree work and a small amount of Landscape Maintenance to its affluent clients in the greater Boston area.
In 1994 Carney was purchsed by the Boston based firm of UNNICO Service Company.
By 2001 Don Carney had the urge to get back in the business and with all the great contacts he made over the years, he decided to go it alone and focus on providing his clients with high quality design, consulting and project management.
