Ian Ferrel has been working as a landscaper and apprentice to a master arborist for 7 years before starting his own business. Ian took his arborist certification test in September and received a nearly perfect score. His passion is climbing and his main concern is safety for himself, anyone he works with and for the property. He started his business with the best gear to do the job right. We are still in our fledgling days, but we are committed to providing for our customers a tree and landscape service they can rely on for honesty, safety and a job well thought out and well done.
Big Jay Tree Service began in the shadows of Big Jay and Little Jay mountain in Vermont near Jay Peak Ski Resort. Jason moved to Kenduskeag Maine in the summer of 2005 to be with his wife. The family tree business is now located in Bucksport Maine.
