I come from many generations of loggers dating back to the early 1800s. My father, grandfather, great grandfather , uncles cousins etc. I’ve been in the woods my whole life as long as I can remember and would ride on the equipment with my dad/boss until I started running equipment by myself around the age of 8. Bulldozers , skidders , the easy stuff at first then graduated to the more advanced like processing & loading wood with a knuckle boom etc. Through genetics and growing up in a high energy dangerous atmosphere like logging I’ve developed a strange romance with danger, adrenaline and the elation I receive after a challenge and knowing it was done correctly, professionally.Hence my love for skydiving,moto-x and climbing. Logging is a trade handed down through generations and requires a most versatile set of skills as well as a mindset shaped around strength, courage, perseverance and all the things that drive a person to never give up. I take pride in my work and I love what I do.
