Tresala, LLC was incorporated on Maui in 2008. Tresala is a hybrid of words tree and salad. Tresala was Twisted Twig in Durango, CO and Cedar Design Group in Seattle, WA. Director, Michael Hylton, became interested in conservation biology as a child and began gardening and landscaping in high school. He earned a BS in environmental biology at a small liberal arts college in Southwest Colorado. Mike was founding Director of a student sustainability club that morphed into today's campus Ecology Center. Tresala Director worked with endangered species monitoring, commercial fisheries, habitat protection and restoration projects in Alaska, Washington, Colorado, and Arizona. He earned an MA in sustainable landscape planning and design, inspired by permaculture design course in the early '90's. Tresala relocated to Kirksville in Northeast Missouri in 2011. We are just starting up there is and tryin to follow are dreams there is a total of 4 of us starting this together. Between All of us we have 10 yrs plus of experience ranging from powerline clearance to residential and to logging.
