Owner James Glenn's family has been working with, and demonstrating their love for trees for three generations. James had his passion for trees and treework instilled upon him by his father, Travis. His father left Daveys Tree Service in 1970 to start his own tree service, Quality Tree Care. James's earliest memories are of his father and the sound of a chainsaw. Throughout his formative years, James learned a lot about trees - from the different species, to their role in nature, to how to cut one so that it could twist and fall directly on a tin can (Thanks, Dad). After working for a large corporate firm on the East Coast, James and his family returned to Idaho in 2009. James and his wife, Kate, started their company shortly thereafter.
