Doors by Decora was founded by a third generation carpenter, John Smith. He began making solid wood doors and selling them to home owners and stained glass studios. In the mid 1980's Charles Jones, a local businessman and stained glass artist, partnered with John to start selling stained glass entryways. After John's death in the early 1990's, Charles purchased the remainder of the business from John's family. Charles has since retired (but can't stay away), and the business is run by his children J.K. & Emily Jones and their business partners Bill & Susan Poole.
