Roy Glick was the founder of Woodburn Radiator & Glass in 1950. He sold the business to Ynez Smith the first Woman to own a glass shop in the state of Oregon. In July of 1979, the first day of Ynez's ownership, Doug Wells walked threw her door looking for a job. He had many years of radiator sales and service and was a jack of all trades. She hired him on the spot. The business was then bought and sold to the Chose Family and in 1999 they wanted to sell the shop again. Doug finally purchased the shop after 20 years of loyal service. Here we are 65 years later still going strong. My name is Shelly and I work with my Dad. My brothers and I all had our first job experience right her in this shop. My Dad is still very hands on and works right along side all the employees. His exocentric personality is a magnet for most of our customers. Come in and visit us and you will see what I mean! When you think about Glass or Radaitors please think about us.
Oregon law requires all contractors and subcontractors performing work in the state of Oregon to be licensed.
Licensed contractors are bonded and insured and can be more easily held accountable in the event of a problem. Should you need information about whether your Windows contractor is to be licensed, contact Consumer Help Center by 503-378-4621. The most accurate way to find a license is with the CCB (Oregon Construction Contractors Board) license number. Contractors must include this number on their advertisements, including brochures, websites, and business cards. Ask your contractor for the number and verify contractor's recent history of disciplinary actions on https://www.ccb.state.or.us/search/ yourself if necessary.
