Zen Windows was founded in 1998 after deciding it was time to create a totally new way of shopping for window replacement. Homeowners tell us how much they like doing business with us and how easy we make the whole process. They love dealing with us because they can tell how much we care about getting them great results at a reasonable price without even having to come into their home. This is exactly how we would want our window buying experience to be - helping people improve their home, but without the uncomfortable sales calls and other stresses associated with traditional home improvement. We couple all of that with a lifetime warranty, no deposits or down payments, and financing options to create the best replacement window buying experience out there.
I established #EnergyWindows LLC in 2015 from the advice of some friends from church. I quit my job building homes and focused on what I love most which was #ReplacementWindows. I love doing #windows because I get to meet a new #homeowner every day and help them with their needs. My goals to have fun, laugh spend time with my wife and daughter and improve myself and businesses.
This business was founded by Andrew Jackson Smith, a WWII Marine Veteran of Guadalcanal and 46 year retiree of Rodchester Rope of Culpeper, Virginia. Many know him from working at Ace Hardware where he worked after he was tired "of sitting and being retired". Andy has helped many people over the years and has had some good helpers too. He has found a helper that he trusts implicitly and has been training him for the last three years and turned the reins over to him last July. Carl L Lukkes, is honored to be given this opportunity and blessing. Andy is still involved with the business on a "when he feels like workin" basis and keeps Carl straight. Andy maintains that he will be around for the next 20 years to make sure Carl "is doing it right". Carl is sticking around and watching over Andy and his wife Myrtie (65 yrs of bliss), assisting when needed and making sure Andy makes that next 20. Stop in. We have an open door, we look forward to serving you
West Virginia does not require a homeowner to be a licensed contractor if they are doing work on their home. The homeowner must state this prior to commencing any work when applying for a building permit. If the homeowner does not do all the work himself, he must hire a contractor who is licensed by the State of West Virginia.
For more information or to check if a contractor has a valid state license, contact with the WV Division of Labor at (304) 558-7890 or visit Contractor Search page
